Award-Winning Römerstadtschule
The new Römerstadtschule in Frankfurt am Main has been honored with 2nd place in the SCHULBAU Award 2024.
Designed for inclusive teaching and cross-grade learning groups, the school welcomes around 345 students from up to 64 nations. With the new building, Trapez created a learning environment tailored to individual needs—an architecture that supports the school’s innovative educational concept and rethinks the traditional classroom.
The jury praised the design for its response to educational innovation, the creation of dynamic spaces, its sustainability, and the sensitive treatment of the site’s historic context.
